§ FIELD BIOGRAPHY
The researcher arrived in the spring of 2026. Their stated objective: to document Earth cuisine for inclusion in a galactic culinary index. Their species, they explain, has no concept of taste. They find ours remarkable.
Each transmission consists of two parts. First, a recipe — prepared using methods unavailable to standard human kitchens. Second, a translation — the same recipe, written so a human may reproduce the result without alien equipment, time-bending, or open contact with the unseen.
The researcher has agreed to make these translations freely available. In return, they ask only that you cook the recipes, eat the food, and — when reasonable — report your findings.

§ HOW TO PARTICIPATE
- Watch the field reports as they post. They appear weekly.
- Read the human translation of the recipe.
- Prepare the dish using your own (non-alien) kitchen.
- Share your results on Instagram or TikTok and tag @cook4humans. The researcher monitors all channels.
